Where's Jeff? Morrison IL

camped at the Morrison Rockwood State Park last night, and it wasn't entirely unpleasant. I would have preferred something less humid, but I think that's going to be a rarity until I get out of the midwest.

I'm parked in the parking lot of the Morrison Dairy Queen, using their wireless connection. Yay. Once done here, I'll be on my way to visit my friends M and D in Chicago for a day or two.

I looked up this state park. Looks like a nice place. How was cooking vegan camp-style?

Yeah it was a nice park, though the prices were slightly higher than what they had posted, so I was a bit miffed at that. The showers were clean though, so it could have been worse.

vegan camp cooking was pretty easy that night. I opened up a can of beans and cooked that together with some brown rice and some spice mix that I had sitting around and it was pretty darn good, though not overly exciting.

You need a red and white striped shirt, blue jeans, a backback, and a beanie.

And good timing as far as google maps satellite pictures go.
